404 errors can often be put right by Clearing the Cache in your Browser.

Have a read through the following :-

hi thank you for your advise I have done what it said but no luck I'm afraid sit still says page 404 cannot be displayed oh well back to the drawing board.
Sounds like Yahoo have messed up the coding of their pages.
Ellipsis....What you say is a definite possibility. However, if it were the case, I feel sure that the Internet would be 'overloaded' with questions about what is happening with Yahoo.

I am now wondering if kendra has picked up a virus of some sort and would wish to establish if that could be the case, because, 404 error messages can be generated by a fault on one's own computer.

kendra....Have you given recently a 'run through' with an Anti Virus programme.? If you haven't got any AV in your computer I suggest you download and run MSE Microsoft Security Essentials, which is a free AV programme and as good as any for which you have to pay.

thank you alston for your answer I have just done what you suggested and the scan found no faults or virus on my computer. I have also cleared all caches and unwanted cookies and files so it dosnt look like its my comp that is at fault. So I will have to keep trying to find an answer thank you again xx
kendra... When you say that your problem is on Yahoo, does that mean the Yahoo Home site that anyone can access or is it 'My Yahoo' which is tailor made for you. The reason I ask is that I have 'My Yahoo' which was established some years ago when I signed-up with BT for Broadband. I very rarely use it but have tried it today and there are Not any problems with it.

Hi kendra....Have come home with my wife, after doing our weekly shop at Sainsbury's, and have picked-up your posting.

Thanks for your response to my question. I would like between us to crack the problem which you are having, but it is necessary for my asking clarification of a few more points.

What Browser are you using (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or perhaps Firefox.) ? When you click open your Browser, do you get immediately Yahoo with a Search Box.; or perhaps you get a Google page.? Have you registered with Yahoo for E/mails.? What are the steps which you take to contact Answerbank.?

I apologise if you feel that I am asking too many questions. It is a matter of my getting as much information as possible with a view to resolving matters.

Al.
