Hi does any1 know if 'kiev' means garlic butter in the french language?! thanx! :-)

Not to my knowledge. I assume that you are refering to the Chicken Kiev, named after the Russian city of Kiev.
I presume that Mortartube is referring to the Ukrainian city of Kiev.
"buerre" is french for butter....
No, that's Ukrainian. "Beurre" is the French for butter.
