Why was Omen IV never acknowledge as a tue member of the omen film series, thus never appearing in any box-set collections of the acclaimed series

Probably as it was a really cheap B-Movie type mess that made little sense and had none of the familiar faces from the Trilogy. Omen IV was truly diabolical. Boom-boom.

The first 3 movies are about Damian Thorn but the 4th 1 is about a girl maybe Damian Thorns daughter.I guess why Omen 4 is not in a box set is because it does not feature Damian Thorn and the first 3 movies are centred around that character.
