All of a sudden I am getting bombarded with messages on Google on sites i visit saying 'you have been personally selected to complete this survey'.Just started today-don't know what on earth to do to get rid of them as I already have Norton.Been using it for 9 months now without a glitch and this pops up.
I thought Norton was meant to stop all these kind of things?

Try running Malwarebytes, it may help:

Thanks WyeDyed for your help but i've managed to get rid of it.Apparently it was a common problem the name of the place that was doing it.I got a lot of info by typing their name etc and someone had said if using Google Chrome,go into tools and then extensions.I didn't actually see the name but i did see a third party box ticked so I've undone that.No other problems since then-fingers crossed!
i tried down loading MalwareBytes the other week and it came up on my computer (Windows 8) that it was not suitable or campatible for it so i couldn't download it :(
I run Malwarebytes on WIndows 8 without a problem - if you haven't already done this then it might be worth trying to download it from the official site http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/
I also use Windows 8 and use Malwarebytes with no problems.

Glad you got it sorted, bye the way.
MS Internet Explorer seems to be more secure but, personally, I don't like it as a browser.
Chrome and Firefox seem to be vulnerable to this sort of thing at the moment (I suspect the Microsoft Black Ops Department for this).
