Last year we had trouble rounding them up - this year I feel as if you've left it in the cooling cupboard and forgotten about it!

(Or you can prove me wrong and point me to it, sorry!)

Regardless, I'd like to put up a GBB thread somewhere each Tuesday morning or afternoon, maybe do the "who is going to win" poll each week? Anyone up for that again?

And if you are, where to put it? Does it go in TV or Food & Drink?

Here's the bakers: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b013pqnm/profiles/bakers

Who do you think is going out next week? Who will win?

On current performance I think Ruby will win out overall - and Beca will be going out next week.

I am having trouble getting into it this year...it seems to be a bit more formulaic and less unscripted?
I haven't seen it. A programme about some people making cakes? come on. seriously?
I think the one with the best buns should win....
Any contestants from Gloucester doing a badger bake or similar?

"seriously?"

Dr.B, yes. Watch some - it's existentialism, except they're not waiting for godot, they're waiting for the bread to prove.

I agree, not quite as good - yet! It might pick up when you get to know them better :)
Oh I'm really enjoying it so far - I think Mark's a bit of a twonk and has been getting on my nerves and my favourites so far are Kimberly and Rob. I actually wanted Ruby out last week when she started crying - as soon as they cry I tend to want them to leave, same as for Masterchef.

^^^ Tiggs put one in CB last week so I think there's a few of us watching it who'd be up for a thread :c)
i like ruby, shes very pretty, but its too early for me to decide who i'm voting for. the yin and yang bread looked horrible!
i think the whole baking thing is drying up, people liked watching it but realised that to bake takes effort and most just like the glossy books
I made an awesome cheesecake on Saturday... I realise it's not baking but I was still pretty chuffed with it.
Baking doesn't require effort from me, I love baking. It calms me down and relaxes me..I always have a freezer full of cakes (Don't tell B00 that). I really enjoying this prpogramme I think Beca thinks she's better than she really is.
Love cheesecake CD. What sort did you make?
(i thought it was a pancake with red and brown stuff on top, shhhhhhh)
It was.

I'll stick the thread in F&D on Tuesday morning in anticipation :)
Oh goody, another chance to ogle, erm I mean watch Paul Hollywood. Forgot it was on.
Strawberry cheesecake with strawberry puree and dark chocky on top Mazie... ignore the philistines...
Sounds really scrumptious CD. x
