Hi, I hope someone can help.

I would like to know if there is such a device or function that can switch your TV off independently, without anyone being able to switch it on again, until a time you want it on again.
I would like my TV to switch off at 11.30pm automatically and not come on again OR BE ABLE TO BE SWITCHED ON AGAIN UNTIL 7AM.

Many thanks.

Just unplug it.
I don't see how there can be such a device save that it was part of the TV design. Anyone can plug a TV in elsewhere.

What may be possible, and I've not checked, is some kind of locking device over a mains socket ? Which would allow you to turn it off then lock it so the switch can't be pressed or the plug removed ?

Even then someone could cut the plug off, add another, and plug it in elsewhere.
There may be a function on your tv which allows you to set a pass code so that it can be switched on but no prog's can be watched until the code is entered.
It is almost certain your tv settings will the ability to block all channels without entering a code.
What make/model is it?

The model is 28DW6559/05.

I think the answer will be linked to the settings like some of you suggested.
