Ipad Not Verifying Hotmail Account T

For some reason my ipad2 now cannot verify my hotmail account. It's been absolutely fine up till now. I deleted the account, restarted the iPad and then tried to add my hotmail account again but it wouldn't have it. Short of lobbing it through the window I thought I'd ask for help first

Your ipad will need to have an email address as identification. When you first get one you set that up yourself. To check what account is set up go into Settings, Mail, My Exchange Account.
Once you have an ID email account for your ipad you can then set up as many as you wish using the same function.
