Where might I buy an adaptor which would allow me to charge a hand held car vacuum cleaner from the mains. It is fitted with the Cigarette lighter socket plug. Thanks.

Amazon has lots of 240v to 12v converters. Do be sure that it provides enough power before ordering - some are rated a 0.5 watt only, probably not enough.
