I have been lead to believe (by that great oracle twitter) that an important new transfer will be made public on 8 Aug
Who do you think it will be?

I of course have a hope of the return of a great player but, in reality, I guess it wont

oh yes....and he could bring his own shorts.
"Man u's days of big spending are over."

Even though they bid (a club record) 35 million for Fabregas?!
Question Author
And they don't seem to have done so bad with the squad they already have
£35 million isn't big in today's market. Even Arsenal can spend more than that nowadays. Liverpool spent 30 on carroll.

Chelsea and man city are the big spenders in england now.
Question Author
And where has that got them doctorb?
Chavski cannot keep a manager for a full season and Citeh are still second best

What will seem strange will be no Sir Alex in the dugout.
As much as i dislike abramovich's way, look at his trophy count. City will come good again this year.

Sorry ric.ror, but i think Man u will fall away.
It will be strange not having SAF clockwatching. As for liverpool they're not challengers for the title. Chelsea and Man City might pose a threat if they spend wisely.
Please please mr wenger, don't buy rooney.

Could it be fabregas going to OT.
There is a big announcement tomorrow 16th August at Old Trafford. Rumour is that thevacant No.7 shirt will be filled. Madiera cake afterwards in the Ferguson Lounge.
