i have a few devices that i would like to use occasionally (scanner ,web cam ,not for web use ) that win 7 has no drivers for just want check if i installed xp on a separate partition i could use that ok, dont want the updates etc apart from service pack 1 as i would not be on the net using xp
any problems doing this

i know about dual boot s/a just checking, i would be off line when using xp.
drivers for my umax scanner dont exist in win7 nor do the drivers for my trust web cam. ive done all the searches for them there around 10 years old work ok and not buying new stuff just because they dont work in win7
