It depends what you mean by 'near'. Bury has well known market but seems to be at least an hour's drive away by motorway. Southport used to have a good shopping street-Lord St

Blackpool town centre itself has some nice shops. Bury, as Factor's mentioned is a bit of a shlep from Blackpool.

Feeeport's not too far though, it's a designer outlet and it's worth a look.
