As an animal lover, I can hardly bear to read articles like this. How on earth can anyone do this to a small defenceless cat ?

The owners MUST seek compensation. It is the only way people like this will learn; from hitting them hard in the pocket.

2 months, with time off for whatever in a cushy prison no doubt is no deterrent.

And what about the teenage yobs in Durham who were forcing a six week old kitten into a bucket of oil?? A man passing by in a van witnessed it and rescued the poor little thing, thank God .....
