Stair Carpet Thingies!

what do you call those individual bits of carpet that you put on your stairs? You know like an individual little rug on each step... My mind has gone blank :0/

I'd just call that a carpet runner.

Tong gets best answer.... Treads seems to bring them up on Ebay.... This sort of thing...

Thank you for that post Octavius.I would never have thought of using those on my stairs. What a fantastic idea. Can't wait to get cracking now :-)
