I am trying to do the latest Air Ambulance Quiz and have spent too much time on it already. Can anyone give me a few clues.

What could possibly connect fish or onion

What could possibly connect thread or crest

Mix London gardens & spots on body. I am struggling with the spots on body.

Any help would be appreciated

To Factor-fiction. I am afraid I had left out the first part of the clue, but you certainly helped me. I have not yet worked out the others but will work on them. thank you.
Thanks. I realise now you don't want to give away what the answer was. Sorry if I've given too much info to others
I'm stumped, I have no idea at all.

The gardens (since the clue is plural) could be Kensington (Gardens).
I gave what i thought was the answer earlier in the thread, boxtops. I have established the surname. I can only think of one forename that goes with it but I can't confirm it because the OP is keeping that part of the clue close to his/her chest.I guess the missing part of the clue refers to a police station/cell, pinch/rob, tiny cut or half a Jim Davidson expression
Yes, I see that..... it's so difficult if the OP doesn't give us all the clue, we don't have the AA Quiz and we can't hazard what it might be!
I think the first name is spelt without the c, so may be backward family member, or something similar.
It's a Riddle isn't it. Wouldn't It Be Nice to know the full clue. (Just another couple of clues from me there as to the singer)
I'm also curious as to the other two answers now, but maybe I should pay for the quiz next time
Pixie has it
I think that Obsessed should give you the full clue, factor, as you are putting in so much time trying to help.
Oops, I slipped up my own hint on this one. I should have said Wouldn't It Be Good (not Nice).
It's okay, ellie- I know the answer so the clue doesn't really matter now. Hey ho- it's off to work I go...

To everyone that has replied thank you. I am sorry if I have upset anyone by only giving part of the clue. I had worked out the first part of the answer and was looking for clues for the second part as I could not think of anything. I do appreciate any help I get so I can only apologise once again.
Happy to help. We like challenges so I suppose an incomplete clue makes things more fun

River Phoenix, one thesaurus gives crest as, plume or tuft of feathers,
thinking phoenix (bird)
Hi Baldic.

River Pheonix was an actor though- I don't think he sang.

I was toying with Dee or Seine for the river that flows, and Head for crest. I fact if I use all three I can nearly get (Meh or Med) Dee Seine Head- Medicine Head- if only I could justify the Meh/Med!

I'm trying to fit X-Ray Spex for the first one.
X=vote Ray=fish but i can't link Spex(specs/specks?) with onion
The only thing I can think of that links fish with onion is = White.

White fish (as opposed to oily fish) and white onion (as opposed to Red onion)
Calibax has it.
I gave up on the onion one although as often happens the answer will probably come to me at an unexpected moment.
I think X or cross may be part of the vote/onion/fish clue but I'm not sure of the 'able to' bit. Can X... May x...?
