Yes, lynnben, but a mackerel is a fish, not a bird. I had already thought of that one, but I don't think it can be what we're looking for.

26 = Corniche (coast road on the French Riviera)

I stand corrected, lynnben and gen2. I have never heard of a Mackerel bird, although I have heard of a wryneck. Thanks for your help, both.
