They are a bit creepy. If you touch their webs they make it shake.

When i was about 6 or 7 my dad painted our kitchen in the summer and then we went out for the afternoon, when we got back there were hundreds of daddy longlegs stuck to the painted walls, I totally freaked out!! lol

My son has a disgust for moths and no matter how many times I tell him to turn the light out.....it has to die.

crunchy cat toys however their grubs (leatherjackets) are food for a number of birds including crows and nearer the coast waders like oystercatchers and others will come and probe for them
