How Can I Make Firefax My Default Browser?

I use Firefox as a browser every day but when I click a hyperlink in Outlook it opens up Internet Explorer which I do not like.
I have tried going to Programs in Windows 7 to set my preferred default but all programs are there except Firefox.
Does anyone have a solution please?

Just a personal opinion. You have done the right thing in making Firefox your Default Browser.

However, you were wrong to say "Silly me".........We are all sometimes devoid of what appears to be a simple answer, once we have been made aware of it.

What is incredible is that jno & sandyRoe both came up with the correct answer and they posted at identical times.

Surely, one must marvel at the usefulness of AB and acknowledge that lots of things are simple if one knows how to do them.
