I promise you this is true
I filled in an application form for this quiz and posted it on the monday. On the thursday I was phoned by the research team member. I was asked 20 questions and was told I had passed and would have a interview the following Friday. I went to the interview with 30 other people. We then formed a circle and a tennis ball was bounced amongst us. If you caught the ball they asked you a stupid question like what special powers you would like to have or which dead or alive person would you like to have a meal with
Then you had to make up something about yourself with two real things . So this went all the way round with 30 people.
Next you had to do a camera interview for one minute
Then the researchers retired to reduce the 30 people to 15. Then another interview on a video. Then you could go home. It cost me £50 to get there and many people came twice as far as me. Not even one quiz question I never heard another thing from 12 Yard not that I am very surprised as you are treated like cattle

never even heard of that quiz. When i auditioned for 15-1 they paid your travel expenses to the audition, and to the studio where they recorded the prog. I was net to someone from NI and they had paid her flights, and her hotel
mickthemuppe - perhaps you could join Nick Knowles on this

I liked watching Perfection, but I'd no idea you had to go through all that rigmarole to get on it. A party of us once went to Manchester as audience for The Price is Right, we queued to get in then went into the bar area for tea and sandwiches if we wanted any. We must have stood around for about 3 hours waiting, then we were told that one of the producers had died in his dressing room and the show was cancelled. No refunds or apologies. What a waste of time and money.
You were still better off than the producer though.
