Hello all,
I have some Mexican Corona bedroom furniture that has been stained and finished with wax. I want to make some shelves that match. Does anybody know what type and colour wax the manufacturers use?
Thanks

I suspect if you did a web search on french polishing you'd probably find a range of products for that sort of thing.
Probably this, Briwax "Antique Pine" ...................

Your problem is being able to find a stain that will match the original furniture. The wax that the manufacturers use will be clear. Give them a ring or e-mail to see what stain they use...they can only say no. If it's modern furniture my bet is they used a spray-on laquer & finished it with wax.
I take my wood staining/varnishing to this place http://www.finneyswoodfinishes.co.uk/shop/interior-wood-varnish.html if I have any problems.
