I had to have my laptop encypted due to confidential work. My hard drive has now been replaced so do I need to have the laptop fully re-encrypted? I cannot remember if I got a disc/certificate when I had it done about 3 years ago?

When you say that your hard drive was replaced, do you know how it was re-installed?
Was it a fresh install, or was it cloned from the old one?

Almost certainly yes.

You are definitely NOT encrypted. Was it your work who sorted it out before? If so, get them to re-encrypt it for you.
What version of windows do you have?
