cyprus
What type of holiday? Abroad, UK? City, beach? To include 'spends'?
We went to Corfu last year, weather was lovely. We stayed a week and we were in a self catering place. It was first or second week in September, (first I think).

We might do the same this year or perhaps go to Rhodes. If you go look at teletext holidays or travel supermarket then there are things knocking around within price range. You have to do just a bit of reasearch on the areas as some are for the party, party peeps and some are less high octane!

The prices isn't to include spending money and we would like somewhere hot. (the £500 is per person exe spending money)
Mallorca is usually good at that time of year. Plenty to see and do and without the masses that descend in July and August.

thanks
Last year we went to Rhodes, two weeks self catering, cost us less than £200 pound pp, booked through Thomas Cook on line.
£350 to £500 pp will comfortably get you a self catering studio/apartment on many of the Greek Islands, Turkey or Cyprus in September depending on how fussy you are. I'd try and go as far East/South as possible for the best (hottest) weather. Having said that, I went to Corfu (most North Westerly Greek Island) early September last year and it was 30+ degrees every day and no rain.
Thomas Cook have holidays in Italy for under £500. Those are half board, which I think is not bad.
