Put simply, there's a problem with the characters being sent to your computer.
The link explains how to fix it from their (the web site) end.

If you view your bank statement on a web site, go to VIEW, ENCODING and choose a different Unicode.
Note which Unicode you are on at the moment so that you can change it back to what it was (if this doesn't help).
