Yes, the Cod liver oil is extracted from the liver of a cod fish. It is either in liquid or capsule form and is high in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin A and D. It is known to ease symptoms of arthritis and rickets in children. you can know more about the manufacturing process of Cod liver here, http://www.westonaprice.org/cod-liver-oil/clo-manufacturing

Actually our hounds have cod liver oil in their food. Excellent stuff!!
Please tell me that Stinking Bishop cheese is not manufactured from deceased clergy.....
No ChillDoubt, just from a certain part of his anatomy, I wont go into to much detail.
I really don't care where it comes from, all I know is that it tastes revolting. One tablespoon full before going to bed, and it send shivers up my spine. One day I remember I stayed over at a friend's place and my mother was not to be outdone and gave me a dose before I left home just so that I wouldn't miss out. The worst was that my friend's mother was not convinced that I already had mine so gave me another dose.
