Has he ever confessed/been caught out that it was a trick?

James Randi has thoroughly debunked Geller. And Geller no longer claims to have supernatural powers, instead calling himself a "mysitifer".

I suspect he was a sleight of hand type magician with a good patter. Would have been nice had it been otherwise though.

thanks Kromo - i will have a look through those.
Uri geller popped up in the sundays this week mumbling about crystals & it just reminded me about people I knew claiming to put broken watches on the tv and they actually DID start working.
