Hey a friend of mine will be building my new computer but I am wondering will all the parts work together and what do you think of the system in general? Thanks!

Yes they'll work together, although it won't work at all unless you include an operating system with it! (and if you're paying for it make sure you get a genuine OS with the install media.... Don't accept a pirate copy of windows!)... also you need a 64bit OS, otherwise the 8GB RAM is pointless.

It's an OK system, you could probably get a very similar spec system prebuilt for much less money though.

No much fun to be had when a pc built by a friend develops problems :(
Not much fun in having somebody build a computer for you.
Ah but the friend will have had fun. Plus the kudos of getting it sorted should a minor issue comes along. Loads of brownie points.
I'd personally rather not pay over the odds so somebody else could have the "fun" of building it!

Fun in "" because having built hundreds of computers it kinda stops being fun rather quickly.
Doing something for a living tends to kill what was previously a fun hobby.
