because it was a Bank Holiday yesterday. I can't get through to anyone there, but it doesn't give a message that the surgery is closed.

should be open
They shouldn't be closed but I expect they're busy as they always are after a weekend/bank holiday. Keep trying.
Knowing ours, it will be closed :(

back pain around 6 weeks ago, and now really struggling to get on shoes and walk anywhere.
Ours is open em, wife has an appointment at 10.20 this morning.

perhaps they are just busy.. been trying since they opened
em if you get no joy with phoning the doc's could you not try the walk in centre ?.

what's a walk in centre, it's docs or hospital.
Well in my area em, we have what is called a walk in centre it is used for out of hours medical issues.
However in your case the A&E is an option to think about if you get no joy with phoning the doc.

i will keep trying... our out of hours doctor service is appalling.
Ah right then em, it was just a thought.

thank you - sorry i am in considerable pain, it makes life not so bearable. taken more of the pain meds and see if they do anything,
