Went to tall ships at Gloucester Quays yesterday, there was a bit of a FF on,
Realised all tasters were either cheese or chutneys, very boring as there were lots of them. Should have gone to a FF at the Smokery at Westbury on Severn but seeing as entrance was £7.50 decided we had had enough of cheese and chutney. Love FF but getting a bit cheesed (hey) off with the samples, what do you think?

Can get a bit 'samey' I agree, Caran.

That's why I do like the Ludlow FF - lots of sausage and other meat and fruit & veg products.

Hi Sunny-dave, Ludlow is a bit too far, we have been before and I agree it is a very good FF. we have one in the Forest in Sept/Oct that is a good one. Tewkesbury FF used to be OK but has now been cancelled.

I don't think you can beat the Good Food Show, not been to the summer one we always go to the winter one at the NEC. The food and drink samples are amazing. I always spend more than I intended but a really good day out.

Usually a good one is Abergavenny, plenty of samples and normally well known chefs abounding!

Oh Headwreck I can visualise my mum doing the same thing, she wasn't for paying where it wasn't due. Ff though were not about in her day. She shopped at the Co-op and nowhere else .
