The apprentice is past its sell by date. A formula which has outrun its appeal.
Like other reality shows the producers keep on hashing out series way beyond its expiry date. The content is tired - the contestents are being asked to pursue elements which in the real world would simply not happen. Its making Alan Sugar look ridiculous. He should be fired.

although i find myself exasperated as the sheer idiocy at some of the candidates and wonder how they could be doing what they're doing and not realising the problems coming - i do think its probably a lot harder than it looks - they are given a day or so to do what usually takes a team of dedicated trained professionals many months to do, when they are working with people who are on their side and trying to help - so its obvious they are going to get some stuff wrong, especially when you have a team who are actually your competition and some actively trying to make you look bad and even sabotage you.

its easy to shout at the telly but i think most people would make a mess of half those tasks.

i guess it wouldn't make good tv if they had ages and had time to iron out all the problem and make everything just right
