I think I must have gone wrong somewhere. My last one is 13 D, unclued. I have re?ici?e?

I have a word to fit, but it doesn't seem to work with the theme. It'd be a help if I knew if I had the correct letters!
PS. I'm sorry - this will make sense only to those who have the crossword.

I've completed it but am uncertain on 11a. Is the sixth letter an N or an R? I have 19 of the 20 cycle words but am missing the two-word thematic item.

It's an 'r' - and you're (obviously) not missing the two-word thematic answer (you mentioned half of it in your post!) Have another look at the title.

Sorry, you're absolutely right re 'careening' - I'd had the same r/n debate as you, then gave you the wrong one.
