Can anybody tell me the best place to get insurance please and some guidelines as well for running a private hire 7 seater. Thanks

it depends on where you live and what council you are going to be licensed by,i myself own a executive hire company and we are licensed by the public carriage office for london.our insurance is supplied by a company called Direct chauffer line in sutton,surrey,they are very good,but be warned,it is expensive.These days you cant just turn up at a cab office,you have to be licensed,as well as the vehicle,its a costly start up,if you are in london go on the tfl website,if in the country try your local concil.

Thankfully I do not live in London, more like Northants, but I've been doing my homework with regards to Insurance, cab firms expenses, diesel etc. But thanks for your help. All appreciated.
