Oohh-aar I can...one of two ways...either go to Start...Programs....Accessories...System Tools...Character Map and you can have a search there for loads of different wee symbols that occur within each font then you just click on copy then paste or you can just hold down the "alt" key and type in the number that corresponds to the symbols you want...(you have to know the font your using though!!)...the first methos is the easiest as you don't have to fart around with numbers.
How could one refuse to help the quest for true love *sigh*. I am not even sure if this will show up as text but I'll give it a try.
This should get you a couple of those red hearts moving accross and back.
Type it in exactly as below, BUT, leave every - out of the code (if we left them out here, it would just show the heart instead of the code). Have fun.

<-MARQUEE behavior=alternate->
<-FONT color=red size=5->
&-#9829;&-nbsp;&-#9829;
<-/font->
<-/marquee->
cheezz you type fast sft, I refreshed just before submitting and you weren't there yet. We must have clicked at the same time :-)
Curious, as I am, I'll give it a try Wildwood. The result will follow.

Whoops. Now I know that works I wish I could erase it because I now feel so guilty as it was to be Jacobs surprise for Abigail. Can someone erase it for me ?
A question. I can see what jellybaby produced above and I presume that she followed wildwoods instructions. If so, why is it that the html commands worked without putting inverted commas (") round the alternate, the red and the 5 ? My little tiny bit of knowledge of html says that these are always required. Am I wrong (again) ?

Ta all! i mucked it up a few toims, but oi've sort of got there now. Ta fer yer 'elp, oi couldn't o' done it without 'ee! :)
Strozzi - from the little bit I know about html, you are not wrong. I usually use the " as you suggested, and would even put a # before the number 5.
I do think that this is only required for older and more obscure browsers. For simplicity and the fact that Marquee won't work in Opera anyway, I left it out.
Perhaps one of the techies could explain if the "s are still required in general html.
Sorry - just had to try it! ♥ ♥
