Uninstalling McAfee internet security suit

i'm trying to uninstall McAfee as an error occured when installing it. So what i want to do is re-install the whole thing from the begining so there can be no error of what sort.

My problem is i went into add and remove program where it said it can not uninstall McAfee. i thought it may be due to the fact i had it running but it was turned off. please give me advise on how to remove it of my computer.

Just run System Restore and choose a date prior to the one when you tried to install McAfee. When your PC restarts you'll find that all references to McAfee will have disappeared and that you'll be able to restart the installation.
