Why Do People Say.........

Some think, instead of some thing, It does my head in. It reminds me of a quote from My Fair Lady. Professor Higgins said " Why can't the English teach their children how to speak " When I was young we were picked up on bad grammar both at school and at home. Does this not happen any more?

I only have one trap Tony, and yes it's baited with a Mars bar. I have not been able to get out to buy any more as yet. When I do I think I will buy half a dozen.

Looked every where for droppings Tony. The only evidence I have is a chewed into bag of peanuts and glacier mints

I pick my children up on poor speech (but not thing 2 as he has enough problems with his speech without me correcting grammatical things as well, I will work on him where he can actually speak properly).
