how can i print on envelopes and labels on my Dell 5100 printer?

how can I print on envelopes and labels on my Dell 5100 printer? I have the manual feed tray open, and picked the right bit from the print menu, but ithe tray seems too small for A4 envelopes and won't pick up the labels! The Dell Website is useless and won't tell me!!

Most printers won't accept A4 envelopes. You should be able to feed label stationery via the auto tray

Thanks, I shall abandon the envelopes and try to cajol it into taking the labels from the manual tray. It just doesn't seem to want to take them...
