We are thinking of stopping off at Kuala Lumpur on our way to Australia.
Has anyone been? What's it like, what is there to see/visit? Many thanks

We enjoyed it very much when we visited a few years ago, went on a couple of tours as well, very hot and steamy. Very interesting
Can not remember the Hotel, but not that far from the Towers, lovely people, very friendly, especially the girls of the night!!! If you get chance, go & see the towers.
Afternoon tea at the Carcosa - absolute bliss and so tranquil after the hussle and bussle of the city

It is raining everyday right now -- which is great if you hate the heat.

Go to KLCC and see the Twin Towers, as well as the Islamic museum, the Batu Caves Temple and Selangor Pewter.
