if it has the balance of the manufacterers warranty (ie 3 years) i really cant see the point..

These are generally not worth the paper they are printed on. They'll always find a way of not paying out. Don't bother.

Do not waste your money Minnie, just make sure you have the 3 year warranty paperwork.
