Thats mid June 4get. I had d'ter on 15th June 76, that boiling summer.
My sister was telling me about this series and I keep meaning to watch it on CatchUp but I just know if I do, I too will be joining "the blubber's club". I believe last week's was really sad, about a baby born with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH). Two years ago, my niece gave birth to a baby boy with CDH and there was a 50/50 chance whether he'd survive. He was immediately rushed to Alder Hey Hospital, where he underwent a six hour op and I'm happy to say he came through it all with flying colours. He just celebrated his 2nd birthday in January, and looking at him now, you'd never know there was ever anything wrong with him.
It takes a lot to make me cry watching this but tonight I did, I thought I was giving birth to little Nathan I was willing him so much to get out alive ......... I thought they were such a lovely couple and kept quite calm considering the awful risk ............
Agree Ann - very moving. Love that programme

Oh no VC, too much if its sad. That's why i don't watch it as a rule.

Oh no-that's not at all true. I always find it incredibly uplifting...and it's not as if they choose difficult births. I'd say they are a rarity. I particular love the emotion expressed by so many young fathers...you can tell they are all deeply moved by what they witness.
