Has any novel or movie, unconnected to Wordsworth or Beatrix Potter, been set in the Lake District?

The most obvious is Swallows And Amazons by Arthur Ransome, and the area was used as the setting for The Plague Dogs by Richard Adams.

The Lakes is the only one I can think of
Rather topically, Uncle Monty's cottage in Withnail & I is in the Lake District.

there was a BBC tv serial a few years ago I think it was called The Lakes ,there was a restaurant or hotel in it but I can,t remember much more about it
