It really bothers me that a supposed educated man can make statements like this in public and not be roundly criticised by the mainstream media for being overtly contradictory and quite frankly moronic.

i thought it rather odd he appeared, though of course it might have been recorded, on Classic FM over Easter, he hasn't been in the job five minutes, not only that he was on Radio 4 as well i think on the same day, he certainly gets around... I have been trying to think who he reminds me in the looks department, any suggestions?
