President Zuma and the Pope are calling for everyone to pray for Mandela's
recovery. ! Well that a billion several times a day.
When did prayers ever save any leader's life ? Or anyone else for that matter. They prayed for Chavez for 2 years and he was only 50 .
A fat lot of good that did.
Of all the mumbo jumbo spewed out by the theists the power of prayer ls the most nonsensible .

I suppose it's like some kind of giant 'Get well soon' card, it might make the person being prayed for feel a bit better, or give them mental strength knowing that lots of people want them to get better - but it certainly isn't going to fix any medical conditions.

Quite right aneas , if they want to waste their time, that's their choice.
I just get tired of hearing it , day and day out as if it had any validity.

The RCs have been praying every day for Madeline McCan for 6 years and they have never had a single piece of information but I bet if she ever is found they would still say their prayers were answered.
