i would hope that all entries are put in for the draw...... it is the fairest way.

Yesterday's crossword announced that postla entries will cease come 30th March...so they get even more revenue from text submissions.
In my opinion...if prize crosswords are genuine then prizes should go up as the money they make from text entires must be substantial.

same here pb2010 I AGREE WITH YOU ENTIRELY IT WOULD BE GOOD IF SOMEONE FROM THE YOU MAGAZINE WHO VISITS THIS SITE COULD CLARIFY WHAT REALLY HAPPENS
I won the you crossword some time ago and the £1000 express crossword a couple of months ago
Don't know. but did you know they list the winners in Fridays mail at the back.
Brilliant so pleased to hear someone has actually won the big one.Did they ring you or write? I won £50 a couple of years ago with the Sunday Express where you have to identify a certain clue from the main crossword.Mind you they took 6 weeks to send it!
Hi I telephoned a couple of weeks ago and the guy that I spoke to said that every entry received is allocated a number whether it is by phone, text or post. He did actually say that most winners were postal entries. So if yours is the 100th entry received and number 100 is picked then - bingo. I must say that after the end of the month I shall not be entering anymore as the cost of the calls puts me right off. I shall miss doing this little crossword.
I won £25 runner up prize in the You magazine in October 2012. I don't think I will be entering very often by texting. Why couldn't they have simply kept the postal entries?
The Weekly News paper asks for text entries now, but at least it is only 25p.
