I've had Morphy Richards-worked great (until I left the crock on a hot cooker ring....duhhhh ),and am currently using a mini 1.5 litre one from Wilkos(has lasted ages).
I'd like a new 3.5l one,and am not sure whether to stick with the Morphy Richards,or go for a Crockpot...has anyone used that make? Or-are they all the same?

I had a Tower slow cooker, it was very good and came with a book of recipes.

I've never heard of Tower...I'll have a look.

Though I'm leaning towards the MR,as it comes in a fantastic blue...shallow-moi?..nahhhhh.
Mine`s Morphy Richards. I got it half price in Tesco a few years ago. I wouldn`t have thought there`s much difference brand-wise. They`re only a hot element with a china pot and lid.
i have no idea if you can still get them, but it was pretty good at the time

We have a large Tower slow cooker, about 20 years old and still going strong. Not sure if they are still made under that name, though.
i still have the recipe book, made some good stews and casseroles, chicken and sauces too..
We've got this fella, and it's briiliant. The crock is actually metal (non-stick) so you can put it on a hob. It's also very light, so easy to clean. And, it heats up much quicker than a ceramic one.

i have a crock pot. What i like about it is that you can use the pot in the freezer, microwave and on the hob. So if you prefer to brown stuff, you can do it in the pot on the hob, then just put it on the base for slow cooking. Do the pots come off of others? They probably do i suppose!
I did a lovely stew in mine, and then for reasons whici cant remember I put the actual pot and lid in the oven ,forgetting that the knob/handle of lid was plastic.......
