Wales, just like Ireland v England a few years ago to decide the 6 Nations, typically threw everything against England today. They went for it big time. Yet England seemed stunned and didn't know how to deal with or respond to a rampaging Wales. Why didn't they expect that from Wales and prepare for it? England were hopeless and embarrassing today.

I agree. But I've been through this simliar situation just so so many times. You think something has a good chance of going well and then the English team seems to fall asleep or something. And not just rugby, it seem across all sports where we manage to get to a state which looks reasonable. Congrats to Wales and all that, but I think it was not just the English team that seem stunned at present.
That's the sort of evaluation a soccer fan would give, dunno what game you watched. England where prepared they just could not stop the opposition. The tackle count of England was 2.5 times the Welsh one. Sometimes you just get over run that's what happenned. At half time it was pretty well even. Wales just stepped up a gear. I don't think the final score gave a fair reflection of the Endeavour.
I agree - England didn't seem to know what hit them. it was as if they turned up thinking it was just a formality and would walk away with the triple crown, grand slam and the championship - i honestly think Wales played a superb game and England just didn't expect such a fantastic turn out by Wales. The best team won, by far. DangerUXD I can't agree with your comment that the score wasn't a fair reflection, I think it was.
Danger - 'soccer' is the sort of word a rugby football fan of american would use. The word is football.
Or American ^^^
no Rugby Football is football, the girls play aSOCCiation Football or Soccer.
The girls also play rugby union, speaking of which, Ireland's women completed the Grand Slam in Milan on St Patrick's Day

As for the men's game on Saturday, Wales are a better, more experienced team than England, whose time may come later. It probably would have needed an off day for Wales for England to win and it was very much an on day!
the word soccer was used in England in the 1880s, probably long before it became the de facto word used in the colonies
Football came first, then Webb Ellis ,due to his lack of coordination and skill, picked up the ball and ran with it. Thus rugby was born. A game created by footballers for the less talented members of the school.
If rugby players were the less talented members of the school how come so many of them went on to be Doctors, Solicitors, Officers in the forces etc. Before the game went professional many came from these highly paid professions.
