I take one each morning, and am in the shower for 10 mins. That includes a hair wash. 30 mins is only too long if there are other people waiting. Also your water and electricity/gas bills are going to be far more!
two showers seems a bit exessive - unless you have a mucky job / day after which you need to clean when you get home. But yes an hour a day in the shower is a bit odd - and will be costing quite a bit and annoying anyone else waiting to use the bathroom. (approx 10 mins myself)
Try taking a shower standing up instead, that way you won't fall asleep in the shower as you appear to be doing now.
Take as long as you like....i personally can't see what it's got to do with anyone else. If that's how you like your showers, well....enjoy
I thought that was the point of a shower in that it takes less time and uses less water. I wouldn't say it was abnornal taking two showers a day or the time you spend in them, but you could be using the time to do other things.
If you're sharing one bathroom with others and they're queueing and also need to get ready for work up then 30 minutes is too long. If you live alone and can afford the time and the electricity bills, then suit yourself Some people just take longer to wake up and get themselves going in the morning. But if the length of your shower is causing problems for others, buy yourself a little timer which buzzes after ten or 15 minutes and see if you can beat the clock.

try getting a shower radio, this will bring you to the land of the living quicker, waking your brain, and you can even dance to the music which will liven your body up.

as has been said though, if no-one else is waiting then do whatever you like - there are no rules!, no showering handbook!
