hi all..im soon starting work on a huge contact where ive been employed as a shuttering carpenter..a friend got me the job. ive worked previously at timber frame house manufacture and also spent 2 years fitting kitchens and second fixing houses. But ive never done concrete fromwork shuttering. im fairly confident i can pick it up quickly as im a hard worker ad eager to learn new things ,.id be no stranger to a multitude of capentry tools either. How easy or hard is shuttering to adapt to ?

I would have thought the techniques were rather similar to 1st fix carpentry, with the possible addition of understanding a bit more about concrete loadings on the timber form-work.
Colly, go for it. With your experience you'll have no trouble with putting up formwork once you've grasped the basic principles.
Good luck
