Thank you both - no, sloopy, that's nibble, he apologises for the knees but they are all he's got :-)
Wow! Did you use circular needles?
A wonderful pair! Well done you.

No, tilly - doubled enders - five on the go at one point, with the shaping and cabling.

It's the first time nibble's had made to measure hosiery!

Those little fish and chip baby jumpers must be a doddle to you, boxy.

I haven't tried them yet, tilly - I've done some hats for the Innocent Age Concern bottles, next job is some Christmas decorations.
I hoped you dont mind that I also looked at your other photos. The shoplifters injuries after he stabbed a marine and fell are pretty horrendous!
Wow!! That green spilling over the page is overflow from my "green with envy" stance. What an achievement.
Well done boxy, I admire your achievement.
Wow. They are so good Boxy (nice legs Your Nibs)
Wow I'm impressed, I couldn't do that if you paid me, well done.
Ref the other photos boxy (sorry I nosed too) what variety is the lovely white rose rambler? Secondly, a tip I learnt from Answerprancer about photobucket, if you right click in the direct link box then you can paste just that photo on here (rather than everyone seeing your album).
Very nice too..have they been washed yet?the knees that is not the socks !
Also hugely impressed by your knitting feat (no pun intended)
Question Author
Prudie, thanks for the tip re the photo link, I'll try that - but I don't put anything in my album on photobucket which I haven't shared already, so I don't mind people looking.

The rambling rose is Seagull - it's fabulous, that's been in the ground about 12 years now (and probably in the foundations if the size of the stalk is anything to go by....) - it smells wonderful, and it is full of bees in mid-June.
