Hi all

Looks a bit of a challenge- the complete opposite to last week.

I won't get the chance to tackle it until the weekend so good luck all.

Thanks

Thanks, Daniel! This one will be pretty difficult, I think.
Hi Daniel, Looks like this will detain us a bit longer than usual. I'll make a start over breakfast! Many thanks as usual.
Thanks, daniel - it wasn't as difficult as it seemed at first.
Agreed , not too bad after all and quite clever!
Is 2down an adjective or an adverb?
I went for Y ending as in remarkablY, but could be wrong!
Yes, not nearly as hard as I thought it would be. I finished it more quickly than last week's puzzle.
2 down ends in y because of the theme.
Thanks as always Daniel.

A couple of the bars were very indistinct on my copy. It could be my old eyes
or the printer needs more ink. Don't get me started on the rip off that surrounds the quantity & price of a cartridge!
Indeed Kayakamina, and if you order refilled ones on-line, they still cost the earth and often don't even work.
Icame here to see if anyone else was puzzled by 7ac.
Many thanks as usual DJA.

Good fun slotting everything into place.
I didn't give too much thought to 7a Ruthrobin, but thought it was a fairly loose double definition.
Thanks, Slaney, that confirms my suspicion - it seemed somewhat vague for a word with four unches in six (in effect).
I think 2d might just be misclued. The definition is obviously adverbial but the wordplay isn't. The -y is correct though, I'm sure.
