I am getting tired of having to keep my chest hair trim and having to ask my wife to shave my back. I was thinking of rather than visiting a clinic to actuually buy a hair lazer machine and do it in house. Has any one ever used them? What are the risks are they easy to use etc? What is a good one to buy.

See if there are any on Ebay then honeydip.
You are looking at £thousands for a decent one. It would be dangerous to buy one and use it without training - please don't go there
I am not sure they work on all types of hair

Could you ask your doctor for advice?

I know it might cost thousands. If I sell it on it isnt a problem.
They only work on dark hair on white skin
You can't sell them, you need to keep using them.
I think you are mad to consider it. Stick with waxing.

Evian really? Why are they called permanent hair removal then?
These are not electrolysis machines are they which work on fair hair - supposedly
Question Author
I have dark hair anyway
electrolysis is completely different - that works on one hair at a time by passing a current through a needle into the hair follicle
The lazer treatment is long term and as everyone else has said it isn't really permanent. The hair eventually gets weaker it it takes years. Waxing is the best option. Painful sorry. But the only way to get a nice smooth finish. And the therapists are experts and whip through it fairly quickly.
Waxing hurts the first, and maybe the second time. The times after would be smooth sailing.
And would anyone buy a second hand machine anyway..
Still my strimmer ideas a winner for this particular applicant, sorry application!

Im just wondering if I got a magnifying glass and my wife to help me concentrate the sun on specific parts would that work?
Yes, go for it.
