was watching Tipping Point this aft and when the adverts came on flicked to Deal or no deal, and there was a voiceover that said "blue £1 (as an example). tried to watch Lightfields tonight but there was a narrative explaining what was happening, moved to NCIS, same thing, am now trying to watch Law and Order UK and the same thing is happening. Has anyone else noticed this? is something wrong with my TV? am I the only one that it annoys?

Try looking in your TV setup menu. What you're describing sounds like verbal description which is used for blind people to help them follow whats going on in the programme.
Sounds like you've got it on audio-description. have you been playing about with your system set, up eg text?

No I've not been playing around with anything I usually get someone to set up for me, where will I find audio-description, it's not in the set up meu?
Are you on cable tv or Sky? It's a long time since I experienced this problem so I'm struggling to remember.
It might be in your cable or sky box setup menu.
