Blue 'connected To Battery Charger' Led Onlaptop

Do I need concern myself that this light (1 of 3, the others are 'internet connection' and 'on') is no longer working? Battery charger light is still lit, and the charge level is being maintained. Is it simply likely that the LED has packed up?

I have three - 1 as you describe, 1 is a circle, open at the top with a vertical line, top to centre (this is the 'power on' light) and the third (not working), is shaped like a AA battery. I perhaps should have said it is an Advent 6552 laptop.
